Sizing Information for FootActive Comfort Insoles

FootActive Comfort Insoles are available in five different sizes that should suit most adults. To find your best size, simply match your shoe size to the table below.

To ensure a precise level of fit, we recommend removing the existing insole from your shoes and measuring the length and width at the longest and widest point as shown in the image below. Match these measurements to the dimensions listed below in order to find the pair that will best fit your shoes.

Flexible yet Reinforced Foundation Material

The comfort insoles are made of a medium density EVA material - an elastic based material that is known for its toughness. EVA is perfect for use with shoe insoles as it retains its shape for a long time without any compromise of integrity.

Who Can Benefit from FootActive Comfort Insoles?

FootActvive Comfort Insoles can be used to alleviate pain and discomfort associated with the following conditions:

Constant Support No Matter What Your Shape

The size and shape of the insoles mean that they provides high arch support and helps keep the foot in a straight position rather than rolling. This is encouraged by the metatarsal raise also built into the support.

Revolutionary Podflex Heel Pad

FootActive Comfort Insoles also include a Podflex heel pad helps to absorb the impact while moving, therefore reducing the pain caused through the rolling of the foot. The impact is further reduced by the shock absorbing forefoot nodules.

The deep stabilising heel cup helps to support the foot while the soft velours top part of the insole adds to the comfort of the sole.

Insole Sizing Guide

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
  2. Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
  3. Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

Where Can I Find the Dimensions?

The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
  2. Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
  3. Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
  4. Carefully cut along the traced line
  5. Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Trace the outline of your existing insoles
Carefully trace the outline of your insole

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.

If you would like a more detailed guide to trimming your insoles, please read our full guide on How to Trim Your Insoles.

Walking pain free
Rating:
30 August 2019  |  Phillip

A few years ago, pretty much out of nowhere I began to experience pain on the outside of one foot. Nothing I did seemed to relieve it until a referral to a surgeon for an apparently unrelated knee problem ended in a diagnosis for dropped arches.

A recommendation for arch support insoles resulted in my discovering glowing references for these FootActive insoles. Sceptical as I was that something so simple could cause such relief I am now the owner of multiple pairs to save me having to move them from shoe to shoe when I change footwear.

I also realised with hindsight that I was beginning to experience classic symptoms of plantar fasciitis, which have completely cleared up after a few months use. I can't recommend these insoles highly enough.
