Metatarsal Domes are designed to be worn with other orthotics, sticking to their surface to provide additional support in the metatarsal area. This means they are not designed to be moved from shoe to shoe and this can in fact damage them because it will erode the adhesive surface of the dome. They are positioned behind the ball of the foot.
Metatarsal Domes are designed to relieve pressure around the metatarsal area. It does this by easing the foot up a little, removing the pressure point from being on this area of the foot.
