Metatarsalgia is only one condition that can affect this area of the foot. There are a number of other factors that have to be taken into account when thinking about the best support that can be provided. A Metatarsal Pad sits under the ball of the foot. This provides support and relief in this area, helping to distribute the weight around the whole of the foot, away from the tender area.
