Pedag Correct Heel Pads

Conditions like bow legs and knock knees can cause your heels to hit the ground at odd angles, meaning the heels of shoes will wear down unevenly. The Pedag Correct Heel Pads help to fix this imbalance, correcting walking posture while providing cushioning to ensure a comfortable and even heel strike with each step.

What's Included?

  • 1 x Pair of Heel Pads

Pedag Heel Correct Pads Sizing Guide

The Pedag Correct Heel Pads are available in four sizes. Please select your shoe size from the table below:

EU Size Women's UK Size Men's UK Size
Size 35 - 37 Size 2 - 4 N/A
Size 38 - 40 Size 5 - 7 Size 6 - 8
Size 41 - 43 Size 8 - 10 Size 9 - 10
Size 44 - 46 N/A Size 11 - 13

How Do I Wear the Pedag Correct Heel Pads?

Depending on how you insert the heel pads into your shoes, you will level out either knock-knees or bow legs. To maintain the placement inside your shoe, please press the self-adhesive side firmly into the sole of the shoe.

Knock Knees

For knock-knees, Pedag Correct Heel Pads should be put into the heel of your shoe with the higher end of the wedge facing the inside of the foot to help support the knees back into their natural position.

Knock Knee Prevention

Bow Legs

In case of bow legs, the Pedag Correct Heel Pads should be placed on the opposite side of the shoe as demonstrated in the image below.

What Are Pedag Heel Pads For?

Pedag Heel Pads are designed to help with problems with gait and walking comfort. Conditions for which they are suitable include:

Correct Walking Posture

The Pedag Correct Heel Pads will correct your walking posture and therefore level out the uneven wear of the heels of your shoes, making walking more comfortable and helping to correct a number of conditions. Due to their versatile nature, these Heel Pads can also be used as a simple solution to bow legs or knock knees.

Self-Adhesive for Easy Application

Standard heel pads will sometimes move within your shoe, hurting their efficacy over time. The Pedag Correct Heel Pads avoid this issue by including a self-adhesive underside, thereby maintaining the correct position in your shoes, step after step.

Features and Benefits of the Pedag Correct Heel Pads

  • Pair of heel pads to correct imbalances caused by uneven gait

Insole Sizing Guide

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
  2. Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
  3. Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

How to measure your insoles

Where Can I Find the Dimensions?

The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.

The dimensions of insoles can usually be found on the "Product Details" tab

What If There Are No Dimensions Listed?

If you do not see the dimensions listed on the Product Details tab, please fill in the form below and we will work to get the relevant information as quickly as possible. We will email you once we have the information that you have requested.

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
  2. Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
  3. Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
  4. Carefully cut along the traced line
  5. Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Trace the outline of your existing insoles
Carefully trace the outline of your insole

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.

If you would like a more detailed guide to trimming your insoles, please read our full guide on How to Trim Your Insoles.

They are a bit rigid and too high if you only have a minor correction problem.

I wish I'd known about this product years ago. Because I'm so heavy on my footwear I bought a pair of DMs but they too started to show the usual sign of wear so I googled what I could do. Wow. They really do work. So much so that I bought several pairs and gave some to my daughter. They don't stick too well but some sellotape soon sorted that. It must be making a difference to my joints too now that I'm walking straighter.

Very helpful.

Very helpful in correcting and realigning my right leg as I have an issue with leg length difference between my legs. Also correcting my step as my right foot/ankle liked to roll inwards the heel correction helps to stop that from happening.

Saving my boot heels
Rating:
03 February 2021  |  Robert

I bought these because I do a lot of walking, it's mainly on tarmac where I live and the outside of my boot heels were wearing down very quickly. I have only recently bought these and they seem to be making a difference already.

Great value

These corrective heel pads are good value for money but find that they don’t stay stuck in your shoes for very long and slip about. Some carpet tape did the trick! Speedy delivery so was very happy.

A very useful item which fitted easily and met my need. I only regret that I had to but them in pairs as I only needed a left heel raised.
