Who Can Benefit from Pedag Power Insoles?

Pedag Power Insoles have been designed for athletes and individuals who want an insole that will protect them and aid sporting performance by promoting correct natural gait, stability on uneven ground and more. This particular pair have been designed for people who have low to medium arches (a High Arch version is also available). The insoles are also suitable for the following conditions:

  • Fatigue - keeping feet in their optimal natural position and protecting the body from impact can aid fatigue
  • Heel Pain - specially devised heel cradle cushions and disperses impact effectively protecting the heel
  • Knee Pain - promoting correct natural gait can help to alleviate added strains on the knees
  • Over-Pronation - anatomical arch protection supports and flexes with the arch to encourage correct natural gait
  • Shin Splints - helping the foot to land in the correct way and distributing pressure more evenly can help tackle shin splints

Features and Benefits of Pedag Power Insoles

The Pedag Power Insoles For Medium Arches are designed with sport in mind the stabilizing heel cup and anatomical arch support make them ideal for competition and especially for sports requiring fast change of direction, such as netball, basketball, CrossFit and boot camp style exercise.

To help prevent over-pronation of your foot, Pedag Power Insoles feature a bio-mechanical bridge that promotes a correct natural foot position. The scientifically designed depth and shape of the insoles ensure optimal force transmission and impact protection without feeling bulky in the shoe.

The Pedag Power Insoles differ from the Pedag Energy Insoles in some ways. The Pedag Power Insoles are made to be a slimmer fit, thinner and super lightweight, ideal for competition or for those wearing slim shoes such as track spikes or weightlifting shoes.

Finally, the insoles feature a high-tech fabric that has been designed to help wick sweat, keeping your feet drier and more hygienic. This surface is skid resistant and provides excellent grip, meaning that your foot does not move around your shoe excessively.

Heat Mouldable for Customised Support

To ensure that you are getting the best level of comfort and protection from your Power Insoles, you can easily heat-mould them to your foot. Place the insoles in an oven at approximately 55°C for 10 minutes. Once you have done this, insert the warm insole into your shoe and walk around for a few minutes — it's as simple as that! The orthotic should now be better suited to your specific foot type. Please always follow this procedure when trying to modify your insoles.

Know Your Feet

For the best fit of your insoles, please remove your existing insoles from your sports shoe and replace with the Pedag Power.

Insole Sizing Guide

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
  2. Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
  3. Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
  2. Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
  3. Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
  4. Carefully cut along the traced line
  5. Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Trace the outline of your existing insoles
Carefully trace the outline of your insole

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.

Seem comfortable with support. Fairly easy to mould. Be nice if they came in a wide too.
