Sidas Max Protect Activ' Insoles

The Sidas Max Protect Activ' Insoles are designed to protect your feet and boost your physical performance during high intensity sports like basketball and volleyball. By combining gel heels with a diverse, ergonomic shape and special PVC, the insoles can absorb shock and heighten the force with which you are able to push off from the ground.

What's Included In My Purchase?

  • 1 x Pair of Insoles

What Makes These Insoles Ideal for High Intensity Sports?

High-intensity sports like basketball and volleyball can be incredibly physically demanding, and you may have to jump, weave or turn at a moment's notice. To protect your body from the strain of such activities, the Sidas Max Protect Activ' Insoles utilise PodianeI+, a special PVC material which provides excellent shock absorption, and is able to reduce impact force on your body by up to 90%. At the same time, the dynamic shape of the insoles combined with their sturdy TPU shells and gel heels boost your forward propulsion to optimise your performance on the court, track or field.

How Do The Sidas Max Protect Insoles Prevent Injury?

The Sidas Max Protect Insoles have a specially designed TPU FLEX shell for outstanding foot stability, so you can move with vigour and confidence without having to worry about your feet slipping in your shoes. They can help prevent your chance of ankle twists or sprains as a result, and so protect your performance and wellbeing in the long-term.

What Sizes Are Available?

These insoles are available in six different sizes ranging from Extra Small to XX-Large, so most users should be able to find a suitable fit. Use the shoe size conversion table below to check which size will suit you best, then use the drop-down box at the top of the page to confirm your selection.

XX-Large UK Shoe Size 12 - 13

Improve Foot Stability and Control

The enhanced stability of these insoles will also hold your feet securely in your shoes, so you can have better control over your movements, even if you zig-zag or run in bursts. This can further enhance your performance by allowing you to reach your full potential of speed and dexterity.

How Comfortable Are the Sidas Max Protect Insoles?

The last thing you want to deal with when playing a high intensity sport is uncomfortable footwear. To keep your feet cool and comfortable, the insoles are perforated to enhance breathability and have padding on the heel and forefoot.

How Do I Fit the Sidas Max Protect Insoles?

To fit your insoles to your desired footwear, start by trimming them to the correct size for your shoes. You can then replace your existing insoles with the Max Protect Insoles, or you can place them underneath the ones in your shoes for additional support.

Can I Wash the Sidas Max Protect Insoles?

To keep your insoles clean, you can wash them with soap and a brush, then leave out or hang to air dry. Avoid using a radiator to dry them to prevent damage to the product.

Are These Insoles Suitable For Low Volume Shoes?

The Activ' Slim Insoles can be worn with low profile shoes but are better for sports like tennis

The Activ' Slim Insoles can be worn with low profile shoes but are better for sports like tennis

These insoles can be used for low volume shoes, however there is a more suitable version available. These are Sidas Max Protect Activ' Slim Insoles, which have a reduced mass and are therefore easier to fit in such shoe. However, at the same time, their slimmer shape means they are more effective in lower intensity sports like tennis and running.

Key Features and Benefits of the Sidas Max Protect Insoles

  • High performance insoles provide excellent shock absorption and propulsion
  • PodianeI+ technology reduces impact shock by 90% to prevent injury and joint fatigue
  • Ideal for running, basketball, volleyball and other high impact, high intensity sports
  • Heel gel pads cushion, support and protect the back parts of the feet

Insole Sizing Guide

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
  2. Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
  3. Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

Where Can I Find the Dimensions?

The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.

What If There Are No Dimensions Listed?

If you do not see the dimensions listed on the Product Details tab, please fill in the form below and we will work to get the relevant information as quickly as possible. We will email you once we have the information that you have requested.

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
  2. Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
  3. Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
  4. Carefully cut along the traced line
  5. Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Trace the outline of your existing insoles
Carefully trace the outline of your insole

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.

If you would like a more detailed guide to trimming your insoles, please read our full guide on How to Trim Your Insoles.
