  • Provides firm arch support for the most active individuals
  • Stabilises the foot in the neutral position to reduce fatigue and strain
  • Precise anatomical design with added pronation control
  • Rigid heel cup holds heel in place
  • SureStep-Control material stays flexible.

Perfect for Active Individuals

Active individuals require insoles that aren't going to need replacing every few months because the cushioning will start to wear down. Salford Insole are made with highly flexible, dense material that can withstand a tonne of wear, tear, use on the road or in the gym.

Optimum Arch Support

Because of their firm foundation, Salford Insole Orange Insoles support the arch at the top of the foot instead of letting the arch fall down into a strained position. This helps prevent further injury if you're recovering and assists with the build-up and repair of muscles in the mid and forefoot.

Can I Trim My Insoles?

Absolutely. If you aren't 100% satisfied with how your insoles fit right out of the box, your insoles can be trimmed using the following method:

  1. Remove your existing insole from your shoes
  2. Measure your existing insoles against the Salford Insole
  3. Mark around your existing insole to create a template
  4. Cut around the template until your insoles are the same size

Trimming should always be done from the toe-end of the insoles.

University Researched

Conceived originally as the product of a research programme at Europe's largest School of Podiatry at the University of Salford, it's fair to say Salford Insole's know what they're doing. With decades of research behind them and their brand, they're the perfect option for active, on-the-go individuals.

A Proven Method for Controlling Pronation

Pronation can affect anyone. In fact, most people pronate or roll their ankles to some degree.

If you are experiencing pain as the result of this, you need insoles that are going to support not only your feet, but your ankles too. Salford Orange Insoles do just that, using a combination of a dense foundation material and an intuitive arch design.

Insole Sizing Guide

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
  2. Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
  3. Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

How to measure your insoles

Where Can I Find the Dimensions?

The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.

Product Details Example
The dimensions of insoles can usually be found on the "Product Details" tab

What If There Are No Dimensions Listed?

If you do not see the dimensions listed on the Product Details tab, please fill in the form below and we will work to get the relevant information as quickly as possible. We will email you once we have the information that you have requested.

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
  2. Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
  3. Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
  4. Carefully cut along the traced line
  5. Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Trace the outline of your existing insoles
Carefully trace the outline of your insole

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.

I over pronate to the point where I've got a bunion left foot and hallux limitus right foot. Had some extreme pain in toes and bunion I'd say 8/10 pain .picked up a pair of these and the difference is literally incredible! Pain is now down to a 2/10 I may need bunion surgery but I can now walk and run pain free. Thanks for the genuinely awesome insoles .

I have been wearing these insoles for about a week now and am really pleased with the reduction in foot pain the podiatrist advised me to increase the time of wearing them by an extra hour each day untill I am used to them. I have already become accustomed to them and am able to wear them all day without any discomfort

Response:

Hi Amanda,

Great to hear from you. We're really happy to hear you've noticed a difference since you started using your Salford Insoles. We find that their supportive midfoot design makes them great for "arch-based" conditions. It's great to hear they've done the trick for you.

We hope to hear from you again soon.

Kind regards,

Rob at ShoeInsoles.co.uk

I have plantar fasciitis and these insoles have given great relief also to my knee problems. Although they feel stuff when you wear them in your shoe they mould to your foot and feel softer but supportive They are sized well too

Great to get a low heel
Rating:

For comfort I need my heel to be low in the shoe. These are great for that, the centre of the heel is about 0.5mm thick, with comfortable moulding around it.
I had these before and couldn't find them anywhere until Shoeinsoles customer support matched them
