Who Can Benefit from the Slimflex Simple High Density 3/4 Length Insoles?

Slimflex Simple High Density 3/4 Length Insoles are ideal for use by people who want an insole that gives better general control of their feet. Due to the fact that the insoles can be customised, these orthotics are suitable for a wide range of conditions and users — especially people suffering from metatarsal pain (metatarsalgia).

Features and Benefits of the Slimflex Simple High Density 3/4 Length Insoles

Designed to give you great levels of comfort and relief, the Slimflex Simple High Density 3/4 Length Insoles have a number of features including:

  • 1st metatarsal cut out – this provides a raised mechanism, reducing the pressure on the first Metatarsophalangeal Joint (MPJ) and easing tension in the plantar fascia area
  • Metatarsal raise - supports the metatarsal area and redistributes weight away from the ball of the foot
  • Deep heel cup - supporting the heel reduces pressure by redistributing the body’s weight over a greater surface area on the sole of the foot while stabilising the foot to provide greater control and support
  • Medial flange - increases control of the medial aspect of the rearfoot. This provides correction, stabilisation and gait training by increasing arch support
  • Medial arch support and lateral control - improving misalignment of the foot. This aids in reducing pronation and improving sagittal plane control

What Can I Wear These Insoles With?

These insoles are suitable for most types of shoes, as their versatile design can fit comfortably into the shoe without causing discomfort. Suitable uses include:

High Density Materials

The high density EVA material the Slimflex Simple High Density 3/4 Length Insoles are made of ensures that the orthotic won’t flatten down, and is therefore more durable for heavier patients or harder wearing patients (those with a higher supination resistance).

Customisation for Tailored Protection

Due to the level of customisation that is achievable with the Slimflex Simple High Density 3/4 Length Insoles, the treatment options with this device are endless. Slimflex Simple High Density 3/4 Length Insoles offer an effective and speedy treatment to biomechanical pathologies.

Insole Sizing Guide

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
  2. Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
  3. Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

How to measure your insoles

Where Can I Find the Dimensions?

The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.

The dimensions of insoles can usually be found on the "Product Details" tab

What If There Are No Dimensions Listed?

If you do not see the dimensions listed on the Product Details tab, please fill in the form below and we will work to get the relevant information as quickly as possible. We will email you once we have the information that you have requested.

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
  2. Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
  3. Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
  4. Carefully cut along the traced line
  5. Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Trace the outline of your existing insoles
Carefully trace the outline of your insole

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.

If you would like a more detailed guide to trimming your insoles, please read our full guide on How to Trim Your Insoles.

Arch supports

Having been advised by the physio that I needed supports, I was not sure how I was going to get on with any. I must admit these are extremely light and very comfortable inserts. They fit in my shoes and boots and the first time I put them in I was delighted on how comfortable they are. Thank you and I totally recommend these inserts.

These insoles offer my feet a little more support than the 'comfort' range and are helping to alleviate my foot discomfort when walking. Very pleased with the purchase.

I was recommended by a podiatrist to buy these insoles as I have a habit of twisting my foot when I walk and subsequently regularly sprain my ankle and suffer pain in my toes.
I was unsure this would help at first, but I have worn them a few times now and I have less pain and feel a lot more confident walking. They are firm and very well made.

Response:

Hi Rachel,

So glad to hear from you. We're really happy to hear that our service and products have been able to alleviate some of the nasty pain you've been experiencing. It's great to hear that the more you wear your Slimflex High Density Insoles, the less pain you experience. This is often the case, as when your feet begin to experience the correct level of support, they adjust over time and begin to feel as they would if they were naturally correctly aligned and supported.

Many thanks again for leaving a review with us. We hope to hear from you again soon.

Kind regards,

Seth at ShoeInsoles.co.uk

Slim flex simple high density soles
Rating:
21 September 2021  |  Leona

Absolutely amazing, at first I was abit worried as it looks very hard and uncomfortable, however as soon as you put it in your shoes and start walking, they adjust to your feet. They are very good support. Would highly recommend if you’re overweight or have issues with shin splints, foot pain etc.
