Who Can Use the Vionic Gold Orthotic Sandals?
If you're out in the sun, either at home or on holiday, it always feels great to let your feet breathe. What's less great, however, is the foot pain that can be associated with walking around in unsupportive sandals.
The Vionic Rest Sandals have been designed for use by women that want a little more support from their open footwear. They are perfect for use on the beach, on the streets, by the pool, or anywhere else you want your feet to feel free.
Designed for Comfort and Support
Many sandals are made without due consideration to supporting your feet, and the open design prevents you from using shoe insoles for additional support. The Vionic Amber Orthotic Sandals have been designed with the following features to provide comfort:
- Superior Support: The Rest Amber Sandals feature podiatrist-designed FMT technology, which provides relief and support as well as realigning you feet back to their natural position.
- Prevents Over-Pronation: One of the biggest benefits of the FMT technology is that it helps to correct over-pronation. By correcting this, the sandals can relieve arch pain, heel pain, and plantar fasciitis, as well as discomfort in the ankles, knees and lower back.
- Adjustable Fit: All four straps of the Rest Sandals can be adjusted using a hook-and-loop fixture, allowing you to find a fit that is comfortable for your feet.
What Sizes Are Available?
The Vionic Rest Amber Gold Sandals are available in five wide sizes, from UK Size 4 to UK Size 8. If you normally wear a half size, we recommend selecting the size below your normal size rather than the size above to ensure a better fit.
UK Shoe Size | EU Shoe Size |
UK Size 4 (Wide) | EU Size 37 |
UK Size 5 (Wide) | EU Size 38 |
UK Size 6 (Wide) | EU Size 39 |
UK Size 7 (Wide) | EU Size 41 |
UK Size 8 (Wide) | EU Size 42 |
Please Note: The Vionic Rest Amber Gold Sandals are a classed as a D to E fit (medium to wide fit). They are a little bit wider than a normal shoe you would find on the highstreet.
Our Top Tip for Fitting Your Vionic Sandals
For the greatest comfort, our product experts recommend wearing the new footwear for just a couple of hours at first, which will allow you to adapt to the level of support. After about a week or two, your new sandals should feel completely comfortable and supportive!
Perfect Colour for Summer
A beautiful neutral colour for the summer, the Vionic Rest Amber Gold Orthotic Sandals comes in a gold/beige hue that will perfectly complement a range of outfits. The sandals also feature light specks of shimmering gold that add a subtle bronze effect that beautifully catches the light from the sun as you walk.
Stylish Detail

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit
Using Your Shoe Size
For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.
Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.
Measuring Your Current Insoles
While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.
To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:
- Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
- Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
- Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results
Where Can I Find the Dimensions?
The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.
The dimensions of insoles can usually be found on the "Product Details" tab
What If There Are No Dimensions Listed?
If you do not see the dimensions listed on the Product Details tab, please fill in the form below and we will work to get the relevant information as quickly as possible. We will email you once we have the information that you have requested.
Trimming Your Insoles to Fit
To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:
- Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
- Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
- Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
- Carefully cut along the traced line
- Your insoles should now fit your shoes better
Carefully trace the outline of your insole
Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.
