Heel Wedges for G8 Performance Pro Series 2620 Insoles

Wearing the G8 Performance Pro Series 2620 Insoles, you can strengthen the muscles in your feet and make your workouts more energy efficient. However, if you are one of the many people who over-pronate or supinate, you can put stress on the wrong parts of the feet, meaning you won't feel the full benefits of the insoles.

Correct and balance these alignment issues with the Heel Wedges for G8 Performance Pro Series 2620 Insoles. They can be placed on either the inside or outside or the heel to subtly redirect your feet into healthier positions that encourage running or cycling in a straight line. This pack includes six wedges, with different heights interchanged for the most customised fit.

What's Included?

What Size G8 Heel Pads Should I Buy?

These G8 Heel Pads are supplied in four sizes that directly correlate to the size of the G8 Insoles you have or are going to purchase. So for example, if you need Size Small G8 Insoles, please select Size Small Heel Pads. The size of the insoles you need is based on your UK shoe size, as seen in the table below.

G8 Insole Size UK Shoe Size
Small 4 - 6.5
Medium  7 - 9
Large 9.5 - 11
Extra Large 12 - 13.5

How Do the G8 Heel Pads Work?

These G8 Heel Wedges are designed to make the G8 Performance 2620 Insoles more effective for people who do not run, walk or cycle in a straight line. They do this by repositioning your feet to:

  • Correct minor pronation or supination
  • Correct lateral foot imbalances
  • Help with more efficient force distribution and transfer

Also Help Transition Between G8 2620 Arch Heights

The G8 2620 Insoles feature changing arch heights that gradually increase and eventually maximise the natural movement of the foot. However, for some people's feet, the difference between two arch heights can feel quite dramatic. With these inserts fitted to your insoles, your feet have extra leverage that helps them acclimatise to the new, higher arch setting, and feel its full benefits.

For more information about how the heel pads affect the insoles, please see the video below:

How Do I Fit the Heel Wedges to My 2620 Insoles?

These G8 Heel Inserts are designed to be really easy to fit with a few simple steps:

  1. Of the three wedge heights, select the pair you want to fit (select the lowest first and see how they feel)
  2. The three pins of the heel wedges should line up and simply clip in to the heel of the insoles
  3. They should fit securely and not feel like they will slip

Please see the video below for a visual demonstration:

What Conditions Can the G8 Performance Heel Inserts Help With?

When fitted to the 2620 Insoles, these heel pads wedges can help enhance their foot-strengthening effects, all of which you can see the in the full listing for the insoles. The heel pads are also specifically designed to help people with the following conditions get all the benefits from their 2620 Insoles:

  • Varus alignment issues
  • Valgus alignment issues
  • Pronation
  • Supination
  • Foot misalignment
  • Balance issues

Interchangeable Design to Suit Different Feet

These Heel Wedges are primarily designed to get toes pointing more centrally, helping to expel force more efficiently and reduce the stress on your knees, hip, back and other parts of the body. But people can have different sorts of misalignments, for example:

  • If your feet point too far inward, adding a wedge that raises the outside of the heel can help point the toes outward and more central
  • If your feet point too far outward. adding a wedge that raises the inside of the heel can help point the toes inward and more central

The different heel pads activate different parts of the heel and can be used on either foot, so that you can find the most beneficial heel support position for your individual misalignment issues.

Insole Sizing Guide

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
  2. Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
  3. Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

Where Can I Find the Dimensions?

The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.

Product Details Example
The dimensions of insoles can usually be found on the "Product Details" tab

What If There Are No Dimensions Listed?

If you do not see the dimensions listed on the Product Details tab, please fill in the form below and we will work to get the relevant information as quickly as possible. We will email you once we have the information that you have requested.

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
  2. Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
  3. Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
  4. Carefully cut along the traced line
  5. Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Trace the outline of your existing insoles
Carefully trace the outline of your insole

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.

If you would like a more detailed guide to trimming your insoles, please read our full guide on How to Trim Your Insoles.
