Liqua Care FlowGel Insoles

Liqua Care FlowGel Insoles are the only insoles in the World clinically proven to increase circulation to the feet and lower leg. This can be of great benefit to people with sore or 'tired' feet who are exposed to long periods of standing or walking. Diabetes sufferers at risk of foot ulcers can also benefit from these insoles, amongst other foot conditions.

Liqua Care FlowGel Insoles are clinically proven to reduce pressure on the soles of the feet (the main cause of foot ulcers) by 21%. They are ideal for everyone who spends a lot of their day on their feet, anyone from commuters, retail workers, doormen, to builders, FlowGel insoles can alleviate sore and fatigued feet.

How Do They Work?

Liqua Care FlowGel Insoles are a simple yet highly effective solution. The insoles contain a scientifically designed and measured non-toxic liquid that flows through a patented insole system with anatomically-designed channels controlling the direction of the liquid. This ensures directional stability while walking or standing up and matches the flow of the liquid to the structure of the foot.

Walking on Liqua Care FlowGel Insoles disperses pressure distribution of body weight on the feet, while the flowing liquid simultaneously provides a permanent massage of the foot muscles. Your way of walking or standing will become much more flexible and soft, improving venous pump action. Liqua Care FlowGel Insoles thereby provide not only outstanding comfort, but also an effective relief of sore, swollen and "tired" feet.

Key Features

  • Disperse and re-distribute pressure
  • Fabric top cover for added comfort
  • Ideal for diabetics at risk of foot ulceration
  • Cut to size with a pair of scissors
  • Extremely durable
  • Slim fitting - fits almost all shoe types
  • Suitable for numerous foot conditions

Which Conditions Can the Liqua Care FlowGel Insoles Help With?

FlowGel Insoles are clinically proven to increase circulation to the feet and lower legs making them excellent at dealing with tired and fatigued feet as well as for diabetes sufferers. They also help alleviate, prevent and deal with other symptoms and foot problems, some of which are listed below. Liqua Care will completely change the way you walk and stand.

The use of Liqua Care provides, not only unmatched comfort, but also a reduction of impact, foot fatigue and soreness. If worn daily, tests show that Liqua Care can also help provide relief from swollen feet and legs, "cold feet", muscular soreness, and back pain caused by prolonged standing or walking. The insole may also be applicable to varicose veins, arthritis, shin splints and ankle pain, depending on circumstances.

  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Morton's neuroma
  • Helps prevent foot ulcers in diabetics
  • Improves circulation
  • Knee pain
  • Metatarsal (Ball of foot pain)
  • Raynaud's disease
  • Shin splint
  • Weak arches
  • Ankle pain

Are the Liqua Care FlowGel Insoles Suitable for Diabetic Ulcers?

Yes, the Liqua Care FlowGel Insoles are ideal for people with diabetes. To prevent a foot ulcer, you need to make sure that your weight is spread across the entire sole of the foot, avoiding small areas of excessive peak pressure. Diabetes also affects the circulation, so if you sustain a minor injury, the reduced circulation makes the wound reluctant to heal.

The Liqua Care FlowGel Insoles are designed to spread the load, reducing excessive forefoot peak pressures. Moreover, these insoles were clinically proven to increase circulation. This makes them highly suitable for diabetic patients at risk of foot ulceration.

Benefits of Liqua Care FlowGel Insoles for Sore or "Over Exerted" Feet

A variety of jobs require employees to spend the majority of their working day in a standing position. Long periods of standing have been typically associated with fatigue and body discomfort at the end of the workday. The pain and discomfort in the body, especially in the feet and legs, associated with standing fatigue may be caused by “venous valve incompetence” or reduced venous blood flow. Other common discomforts - due to reduced venous blood flow - include swelling of the legs, varicose veins, leg fatigue and cramps.

Sore feet, tired feet and 'heavy legs' are not, as one might imagine, caused by poorly fitting shoes. Instead, the cause is reduced venous blood flow; the essential, efficient circulation of blood in the legs and feet. This globally patented product doesn’t just cushion, provide shock absorption and support the feet - it is also an active device that will increase the venous blood flow, even when you are just standing.

Because of the unique design of Liqua-Care FlowGel Insoles, whether you are walking or standing, a series of channels filled with a viscous liquid causes the muscles in your feet to move imperceptibly which in turn makes the blood circulate. The end result is no more sore feet!

Benefits of Liqua Care FlowGel Insoles to Diabetes Sufferers

Hospitalisation of a patient with diabetes is more likely to occur as a result of foot disease than all the other complications of diabetes put together. New UK medical research involving extensive clinical trials has revealed that Liqua Care FlowGel Insoles are a real success in the fight against the onslaught of foot ulcers which currently affects around 1 in 6 diabetes sufferers in the UK. It is estimated that 80% of amputations in people with diabetes are preceded by a foot ulcer.

Which Way Up Do You Wear The Liqua Care FlowGel Insoles?

You can wear the insoles whichever way up is comfortable. We would always recommend wearing the insoles with the numbers at the metatarsal (ball of the foot) facing downwards in the shoe so that your foot is in contact with the smoother side of the insole.

Insole Sizing Guide

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
  2. Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
  3. Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

How to measure your insoles

Where Can I Find the Dimensions?

The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.

Product Details Example
The dimensions of insoles can usually be found on the "Product Details" tab

What If There Are No Dimensions Listed?

If you do not see the dimensions listed on the Product Details tab, please fill in the form below and we will work to get the relevant information as quickly as possible. We will email you once we have the information that you have requested.

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
  2. Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
  3. Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
  4. Carefully cut along the traced line
  5. Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Trace the outline of your existing insoles
Carefully trace the outline of your insole

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.
