Pedag Step Arch Supports

Anatomically correct, Pedag Step Arch Supports cradle the heel bone as well as the longitudinal arches. Pedag Step Supports hold feet in the correct position to effectively reduce pain and prevent the arches from lowering even further.

Pedag Step Arch Supports are made with high quality shock absorbing moss rubber and are covered in fine cowhide. The self adhesive underside of the Arch Supports maximise grip for an even more comfortable fit.

What Do Pedag Step Supports Do?

Pedag Step Supports are designed to sit inside your shoe, providing targeted support at the arch area. They are the ideal option for anyone looking for targeted protection without using a full-length or three-quarter length insole.

How Do I Apply a Pedag Step Support?

To apply your Arch Support, simply find a position inside the shoe that is comfortable for placement. We recommend laying the support flat on the base of your shoe and trying out various different positions before sticking your support down.

Once the correct position is found, use a pen to mark the location and peel away the film before pressing the support firmly into position. We recommend holding the support in place for ten seconds before removing pressure to ensure it is stuck down correctly.

Can I Reapply These Supports in More Than Once?

While the adhesive of these Arch Supports will most likely last for more than one application, their adhesive qualities will degrade with each application. We would recommend using a different pair of Arch Supports for each pair of shoes to avoid loss of adhesion that may cause the supports to slip around in your shoes.

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
Carefully cut along the traced line
Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.

I think these supports may be too high. They do support the arch well, but they make my feet roll outwards, which puts pressure on the outside of the foot and causes pain elsewhere. So, you exchange one problem for another.

These are great, I haven't fixed then in any shoe yet as I've been wearing one pair of shoes for years as I cannot find anything that's comfortable. Want to get a nice new pair. Hoping to find these arch supports in different colours and gel form. To put in sandals. The gel is less noticeable. And black for my DM's.
Will buy more and highly recommend.

I suffer from flat arches and tried numerous products. Full-size insoles often make shoes too small but these simply support the arch without taking up room in the shoe. They are quite large and feel unusual at first but after walking with them for a while you forget they are there. Will definitely buy more as and when needed.

I need high instep supportive insoles and couldn't find any to go in doc martens. These are perfect, they only take up space under the actual arch and the rest of the shoe is free. Highly recommended.
