How Thick Are Lynco Sport L420 Neutral Insoles?

To find out just how thick Lynco Sport L420 Insoles are, please view the image and information below:

How thick are Lynco Sport L420 Insoles?

  • Heel Thickness: 10mm
  • Arch at Highest Point: 40mm
  • Forefoot Thickness: 7mm

Features of the Aetrex Lynco Sport L420 Neutral Orthotics

  • Posted heel for control of overpronation and rearfoot balancing
  • Without metatarsal support for wearers not experiencing ball-of-foot discomfort
  • Recommended for wearers with flat or low arch feet

Why Is Overpronation an Issue?

Overpronation can negatively affect overall body alignment, as the lowering of the foot arch pulls in the heel bone, causing the leg, thigh bone and hip to rotate inwards, and an anterior tilt of the pelvis. This can result in necessary strain to the ankles, knees, hips and back can result.

Insoles for High Impact Activities

The L420 is a lightweight, resilient orthotic that provides superior cushioning, shock absorption and arch support during high impact activities. It also provides stability while you run and protects your feet with advanced features clinically proven to help prevent common conditions such as plantar fasciitis, arch pain and metatarsalgia.

Aetrex Lynco Sports L420 Neutral Orthotics Sizing

The Aetrex Lynco Sports L420 Neutral Orthotics is available in UK women's sizes 3 to 9 and men's sizes 6 to 12.

Please note that the sizing may be displayed on the packaging in US sizing.

Insole Sizing Guide

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
  2. Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
  3. Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

How to measure your insoles

Where Can I Find the Dimensions?

The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.

The dimensions of insoles can usually be found on the "Product Details" tab

What If There Are No Dimensions Listed?

If you do not see the dimensions listed on the Product Details tab, please fill in the form below and we will work to get the relevant information as quickly as possible. We will email you once we have the information that you have requested.

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
  2. Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
  3. Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
  4. Carefully cut along the traced line
  5. Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Trace the outline of your existing insoles
Carefully trace the outline of your insole

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.

If you would like a more detailed guide to trimming your insoles, please read our full guide on How to Trim Your Insoles.

Accurate fit, took only a day to get used to and appear to be effective so far. You may want to size down if you are a mountain climber as I got blisters when I wore them with walking boots! Otherwise great

Excellent product that makes a difference!!!

I have had some back problems over the last few months and following a slipped disc, I started seeing a physiotherapist. He as fantastic and quickly spotted that i have a very low arch. He suggested these insoles to help give me a stronger foundation to improve how i walk, which is turn helps my back.

I was very scepticle at first, particularly considering the price of them, but my back was in a bad way and I wanted to do anything that would help, so I bought some. I cannot tell you what a difference they have made!!!! You have to wear them to believe it really. Now I feel very odd when I don't have them in my shoes.

The way I walk has changed and I have a much stronger foundation. We have since done some exercises with and without them and the difference is obvious to see. I cannot fault the product. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the price, which is pretty steep to be honest, but worth it if you can afford to splash out.

These orthotics are a dream to wear. I had some made on the NHS but they are unwearable. These are life savers for flat feet. Wish they were a bit cheaper!

soles with souls
Rating:

I initially had trouble finding a source of Aetrex Insoles in this country but stumbled upon Shoe Insoles by chance. And I was very pleased that I did. I rang them as I was uncertain as to what I needed and their staff guided me through the process and I received precisely what I required. There was a short delay but I was kept up to date on that and received the soles within a few days. Well done!!
