Which Size Powerstep Pinnacle Insoles Are Right for Me?

Powerstep Pinnacle Insoles are available in seven different sizes that should suit most adults. To find the right size for your needs, simply match your shoe size to the table below.

If you are hoping to use the Powerstep Pinnacle Insoles in very narrow shoes, we recommend removing the insoles from that pair of shoes and measuring the width across the widest point. You can then use this measurement to ensure that the insoles are not too wide to fit your shoes.

Wearing Directions for Powerstep Pinnacle 3/4 Length Orthotic Insoles

Firstly, remove any existing insoles and replace with the Powerstep Orthotic Insoles. Trim the edges of the insoles for an enhanced fit. Initially, if necessary, only wear for a few hours a day until the feet are better accustomed to better support, and then wear full time. Powerstep recommend wearing the insoles in all your shoes, even slippers, to give continuous foot support.

Powerstep Care Instructions

Spot clean with a mind detergent but do NOT immerse in water. Air dry only. Replace your Powerstep insoles as need depending on wear.

Product Warnings

  • Not intended for persons with severe foot deformities or circulatory disorders resulting in infections or foot ulcerations.
  • Consult your podiatrist or medical professional before using.
  • Always consult a medical professional when experiencing persistent pain, discomfort or swelling.

Why Choose 3/4 Length Insoles?

Insoles with a 3/4 length design are ideal for providing arch support and stabilisation, without the bulk of full length insoles. This makes 3/4 length insoles ideal for tighter-fitting shoes, or those that may leave the toes exposed.

Powerstep Quality Guarantee

Powerstep offer a 30 day guarantee on their Pinnacle Insoles.

Insole Sizing Guide

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
  2. Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
  3. Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

How to measure your insoles

Where Can I Find the Dimensions?

The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.

Product Details Example
The dimensions of insoles can usually be found on the "Product Details" tab

What If There Are No Dimensions Listed?

If you do not see the dimensions listed on the Product Details tab, please fill in the form below and we will work to get the relevant information as quickly as possible. We will email you once we have the information that you have requested.

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
  2. Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
  3. Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
  4. Carefully cut along the traced line
  5. Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Trace the outline of your existing insoles
Carefully trace the outline of your insole

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.

If you would like a more detailed guide to trimming your insoles, please read our full guide on How to Trim Your Insoles.

Nice insoles
Rating:

Good quality product, I instantly felt my lower body straighten for using.
The only downside is I find the grip isn't too great in certain shoes so they have a tendency to slide around.

This is the 3rd pair that I have owned and being a sufferer of plantar fasciitis, these are the only insoles that make a massive difference to my life and make it possible for me walk pain free. Would recommend these to anyone

Not Quite satisfied!
Rating:
06 March 2022  |  Pauline

In principle I am very pleased with these soles. I was recommended them by my chiropodist. I bought 2 pairs, but so far have only put one into use. The problem I have is that because they are 3/4 length they do not seem to grip the base of the shoe very well and they slide around when walking. I am considering returning the second pair, with the intention of buying a full length pair in their place. I think they may stay better in place.

Bought to help with overpronation
Rating:
13 December 2021  |  Mark

Bought to help with my overpronation. Have bought the full inserts before for walking shoes - this is the first time trying the 3/4 inserts to switch between different shoes. Fast delivery, item as described. Have tried them in a few different pairs of shoes and trainers and the inserts have fit them all easily. Can feel the inserts under my arches but not painful. Too early to tell if they're helping, but everyone loves an optimist.

Solved my problem
Rating:
12 November 2021  |  Gary

I paid for a private appointment with a podiatrist to assess my feet and ankles. I'm pronated, particularly on one side. Anyway she recommended a couple of brands and I decided on Powerstep. I walk A LOT, it's my job. Anyway the insoles have solved the issue. The only problem is that they're not a permanent fix and I'll have to keep buying them as they wear out.
