Sorbothane Sorbo Pro Total Control Insoles are available in seven different sizes shown in the table below.

For a precise fit, we recommend removing the existing insole from your shoes and measuring the length and width at the longest and widest point as shown in the image below. Match these measurements to the dimensions listed below.

It's important that an insole remains thin without compromising protection in vital areas. Sorbothane Pro Control Insoles provide impact protection at the heel and middle section whilst maintaining a nice flat front end that grants the toes and metatarsals maximum control.

Fitting Your Sorbothane Sorbo Pro Insoles

For best results, trim your Sorbo Insoles to fit your shoes. Remove the original insoles from your shoes and place your new Sorbothane insole within the shoe. It should rest fabric side up and the entire sole should fit flush within the shoe.

Easing Them In

If you have purchased Sorbothane Sorbo Pro Insoles for extra support when playing sport, we recommend you take a walk or two in them before engaging in your activity of choice. This allows the insoles to mould and flex to the natural shape of your foot before they are asked to deal with any serious impact!

Fitting Your Sorbothane Sorbo Pro Insoles

To fit the Sorbothane Sorbo Pro Insoles simply trim to fit and remove the original insoles from your shoes. Place the Sorbothane insole within the shoe fabric side up.

Will These Fit in Everyday Shoes?

The Sorbothane Sorbo Pro Insoles can easily be trimmed, and they could potentially fit into everyday shoes as well. However, these insoles were primarily designed to for use during sports.

Please note that the Sorbothane Sorbo Pro Total Control Insoles have recently changed their design. As such, the insoles you receive may differ slightly in appearance during the transition period.

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
Carefully cut along the traced line
Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.

I have used Cush n step for years now, but on reading the reviews thought I would give Sorbo pro a go.
I did not find the comfortable at all , but everyone’s feet are different. Stick to Cush n step in the future. I work in a hospital and cover 30 to 40k steps so need to have comfort.

Perfect insoles for walking boots and shoes

The insoles that come in even the best quality boots are often thin. These insoles are fantastic for giving really good heel cushioning especially for steep descents and when back packing where carrying a heavy rucksack can put more pressure on heels. The front of the insoles is thicker than my boots original insoles and given better cushioning under the ball of the boot but not so thick that it makes the boot too tight in this area. Overall I find that the walking shoes or boots need to be a fraction bigger than normal to accommodate these insoles.

Cut them to size using the old Sorbos.
Five miles today and no ill-effects.
Could not fault them. Very comfortable and more support than the old worn out Sorbos.

Having to wear steelies for work and doing over 10k steps a day I was getting foot and leg strain. I replaced the existing insoles in my trainers with these and they have made a big difference. Certainly not feeling as achey. Seem expensive but worth the money in my opinion.

Quality of product and delivery

I bought Sorbothane insoles back in the 80's and 90's when running half/full marathons. The latest product is supportive in the heel region, but for me too thin under the ball of the foot, where I need to protect the joints. They seem very hygienic and easy to wipe clean.
Delivery?!!!... just shoved through letter box, which damaged the packaging but not the insoles. No harm done. A good product...a bit pricey...but hope makers thicken up the sole area; hope this comment helps.

If you're looking for a Sorbothane Insole with more cushioning on the front end, we recommend checking out their Sorbothane Double Strike Insoles. They have an 8mm thickness at the ball/forefoot area, which is considerably thicker than with Total Control Insoles.
