How Do the Powerstep Insoles Work?
The reason why the Powerstep Insoles are a top seller is because they work. The reason why they work is because of something called the Powerstep Pinnacle 4 Step System. The system aims to create the perfect balance between foot control, spring and cushioning, while providing support to the weaker areas of the foot.
The 4 Step System works by stabilising the foot during landing, while the centre of the insoles provide support and flexibility. A antibacterial fabric on the top prevents friction and combats perspiration while their double layered cushioning protects the foot from the hard ground. This four pronged protective design is enough to eliminate foot and ankle pain.
Can I Wear the Insoles While Playing Sports? You can wear the Pinnacle Insoles while playing sports because they can fit into football boots, tennis shoes, ski boots, running shoes and more. If you often get pain after running then these insoles are recommended in reducing the level of pain that you receive. By looking after your feet you can stay running for longer.
Can I Use Them Throughout the Day? Again you can wear the Pinnacle Insoles throughout the whole day if need be, and if you do suffer from pain and foot fatigue, these insoles have been proven to be effective. Foot fatigue and aching feet is quite common especially in workers who spend all day wearing big heavy work boots. Using the Powerstep Insoles can reduce the stress that boots place on your feet, helping to make your day healthier and happier.
How Comfortable Are the Powerstep Original Insoles? Users have reported that the Powerstep Insoles are extremely comfortable, just take a look at the reviews at the bottom of our page. They provide comfort by securely cradling your ankle, which means that with every step you put your foot down into a soft comforting material. While this is ideal for those all-day workers, it also helps to reduce the chance of ankle related problems such as plantar fasciitis.
What If My Powerstep Insoles are Tight? They can be a little tight to begin with, however this is something that should be reduced as you begin to wear them in. If you do often struggle with insoles been a little tight, we would recommend buying the next size up from what you would usually buy.
Can I Trim my Powerstep Insoles? You can trim your insoles if they don't fit your shoes correctly. However we would encourage you to look at the sizing chart at the bottom of this page and select the correct size for you.
What Are the Powerstep Insoles Made From? The Powerstep Pinnacle Insoles are designed using materials that ensure longevity. This includes a polypropylene support shell that can withstand a fair few knocks and scrapes. This is supported by an EVA base, a polyester top cover with anti-microbial protection, and a VCT (variable cushioning technology) top layer that encourages cushioning.
How Hygienic Are the Powerstep Insoles? The outer polyester top cover is designed to be anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, so that your feet stay fresh even after use throughout the day. Furthermore they feature antiperspirant properties that prevent your feet from sweating, perfect for a long day on your feet. The Pinnacle Insoles are also latex free, meaning that the chance of skin irritation is reduced.
Can I Wash the Powerstep Pinnacle Insoles? You can clean the Powerstep Insoles, however we recommend that you don't machine wash them. If you do want to clean them you can spot clean them with a mild detergent. Do not immerse them in water and air dry only.

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit Using Your Shoe Size For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.
Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.
Measuring Your Current Insoles While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.
To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:
Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable) Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results
Where Can I Find the Dimensions? The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.
The dimensions of insoles can usually be found on the "Product Details" tab
What If There Are No Dimensions Listed?
If you do not see the dimensions listed on the Product Details tab, please fill in the form below and we will work to get the relevant information as quickly as possible. We will email you once we have the information that you have requested.
Trimming Your Insoles to Fit To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:
Remove your existing insoles from your shoes Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example) Carefully cut along the traced line Your insoles should now fit your shoes better Carefully trace the outline of your insole
Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.
