To ensure a precise level of fit, we recommend removing the existing insole from your shoes and measuring the length and width at the longest and widest point as shown in the image below. Match these measurements to the dimensions listed below in order to find the pair that will best fit your shoes.

Due to the slim and contoured design of the Sof Sole Airr Orthotic Insoles, they are ideal for most shoes and footwear types. This means you can wear them as work boot insoles, casual shoe insoles, trainer insoles, and even formal footwear insoles.

Do I Need to Remove My Existing Insoles?

Whether or not you choose to remove your existing insoles is largely down to your own personal preference. The Airr Orthotic insoles should fit snugly into your footwear, and you may find that leaving your existing insoles in place helps with this. However, if there is little room to manoeuvre, then you may find that removing your existing insoles before inserting the Airr Orthotic insoles helps to improve comfort.

How Do I Clean My Airr Orthotic Insoles?

Once they have been removed from your footwear, you can wash your Sof Sole Airr Orthotic Insoles with hand soap or gentle detergent. They can then be air dried before reinserting them into your shoes.

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit

Using Your Shoe Size

For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.

Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.

Measuring Your Current Insoles

While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.

To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:

Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results

Trimming Your Insoles to Fit

To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:

Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
Carefully cut along the traced line
Your insoles should now fit your shoes better

Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.

Very comfortable and certainly helps improve walking. Originally bought the 3/4 length insoles but found them slightly uncomfortable having removed the original inner sole, contacted firm and they recommended I try these as they are full length. I must admit they are very comfortable and glad I made the change.

Used in the boots I use for motorsport marshalling so on my feet all day. Tired feet at the end of the day BUT no back ache or metatarsal related aches. Product has performed exactly as I had hoped. No lingering aches a day or so later.

Sadly my shoe was not deep enough to accommodate the insole. I did try to persevere for a couple of days but it was not comfortable. In which case I cannot comment if the product is suitable for my Plantar issue.
However the insole is of good quality and was easy to trim/modify to my shoe size. I am keeping hold of them for when I do finally find a shoe which will accommodate them depth wise.

Not used much so far, but first impression very good. Used this make in the past and they do a very sound job. Do yourself a big favour and get get rid of your boot manufacturer's standard sole. Use these instead, because the difference in comfort is huge.

Both the Berry and the soft insoles arrived in good time. There is nothing wrong with the service.Sadly neither sets of insoles were any use, in fact increased the pain in the metatarsals. Having cut them to fit I cannot return them , so I have wasted my money

Good but the sizing is an issue

I’ve bought the size 3-5 which I had to cut to adjust to my size 3,5. Surely I didn’t do that perfectly and got blisters after the first longer run. Overall the insoles feel comfortable with my tarsal tunnel syndrome, but I’ll get back to other brand with more narrow sizing where I don’t need to make any cuts.
