Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift
The Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift is the ultimate heel lift. Not a heel pad or cushion, the Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift is a firm heel raise that is finely adjustable from 1.0mm to 12.0mm by removing and replacing the self adhesive plastic layers. The Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift allows for the staged introduction into, or away from heel lift therapy and contours to the shoe and the plantar aspect of the heel without losing height.
The Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift is layered laterally and easily trimmed with scissors to create a varus wedge up to 5 degrees. The Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift is placed under the foot-bed or insole and moulds to the shoe so that each shoe fits and feels alike.
Please note that the Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift includes a single heel lift only, NOT a pair.

Who Can Benefit from the Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift?
The long constant slope of the Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift supports the arch and avoids bridging the heel and ball of the foot, reducing arch stress. The firm, multi-layered material does not cause heel rubbing in the shoe. When placed under the insole, the Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift creates no additional bounce or heel motion in the shoe, unlike foam rubber or gel materials, and will not compress or lose its shape in use.
The transparency of the Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift makes it ideal for use in sandals and fitting to your shoe takes only seconds. The easy customisation of the Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift provides spot pressure relief for heel spurs or plantar warts and the fine control of elevation for best foot comfort. Peeling or replacing a layer changes elevation by 1mm, so that shoe lift height can be adjusted up or down at any time from 1 to 12mm.
The Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift is available in a choice of three sizes - Small, Medium or Large to fit most (see sizing chart below).

How Thick is a Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift?
It's important to know how thick your heel lifts are. Take a look at the image below to see just how the lift slopes to give graduated relief:
Thankfully, we've measured them so you don't have to. These measurements are taken before any adjustment to the lift has been made. To get an idea of thickness dimensions, take a look at the measurements below:
- Heel Height: 14.5mm
- Mid Lift Thickness: 8mm
- Bottom of Lift Thickness: 0.5mm

Instructions For Fitting The Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift
In order to fit the Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift to your shoe, simply peel and replace the layers of the heel lift to set the height of the Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift. You can remove or replace the top (longest) layers first. For example, if you wanted a 9mm heel lift height, simply remove the top three layers. However, for 6mm or less of heel lift, remove every other layer of the heel lift instead. (It also means you will have two heel lifts for the price of one!).
Then remove your insole or moulded footbed from your shoe and place the Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift with the smooth side up on the floor of the shoe. If the heel lift needs trimming to fit perfectly, you can trim the edges of the heel lift. If the heel lift is too thick to cut, you can dismantle the layers, cut the Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift to the correct shape on each layer (using your first modified layer as a template) and then fit the layers together again. Then replace your insoles or moulded footbed in your shoe on top of the heel lift. Sticky tape is not normally needed to keep the Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift in place.

What If My Insoles Aren't Removable?
The Clearly Adjustable Heel Lift isn't particularly suited to use in shoes with insoles that aren't removable, as it may be uncomfortable when placed on top of existing insoles. For shoes without removable footbeds, we recommend the Cambion PQ 6mm Heel Lift, as it provides a 6mm lift along with cushioning to enhance the comfort of your shoes.

Our Guide to Finding the Perfect Size and Fit
Using Your Shoe Size
For most of our insoles, the easiest way to find the best size for you is to go off of your current shoe size. The majority of our insoles are available in a range of sizes and you can simply select the size that best fits your existing shoes.
Please be aware that, as with shoes, there can be slight variations in the size of insoles. For example a size 8 of one brand might not be exactly the same size and width as the size 8 of another. To help account for these discrepancies, a number of our insoles include dimensions to help you ensure you're getting the right size.
Measuring Your Current Insoles
While using your shoe size to find your best size is a good guide, it is not always foolproof. If you want to guarantee that your insole fit your shoes as closely as possible, we recommend measuring your existing insole and using this as a guide to your size.
To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:
- Remove the existing insole from the shoes you wish to use your new insoles with (please note that not all insoles are removable)
- Measure the insoles at their longest and widest points (see the below diagram for an idea of where this will be
- Match the measurements to the dimensions of the insoles listed, and choose the size that best fits your results
Where Can I Find the Dimensions?
The dimensions for insoles can be found on the "Product Details" tab (please see below) and are usually found in the sizing section of the listing, in a table. Please be aware that not all products currently have the dimensions listed.
The dimensions of insoles can usually be found on the "Product Details" tab
What If There Are No Dimensions Listed?
If you do not see the dimensions listed on the Product Details tab, please fill in the form below and we will work to get the relevant information as quickly as possible. We will email you once we have the information that you have requested.
Trimming Your Insoles to Fit
To get the ultimate level of fit from your insoles, you can trim them to make a small adjustment. To trim your insoles, simply follow the steps below:
- Remove your existing insoles from your shoes
- Line up your existing and new insoles at the heel
- Trace the outline of the insoles against the new pair at the toe end (see the image below for an example)
- Carefully cut along the traced line
- Your insoles should now fit your shoes better
Carefully trace the outline of your insole
Please note that not all insoles are suitable for trimming. Most insoles are unsuitable for return once they have been trimmed to fit; we recommend bearing this in mind prior to trimming.
